Total US goods trade with China was estimated at $414.7 billion in 2025, compared to $149.4 billion with India.
China was the third-largest US goods export market last year, while India ranked thirteenth.
The US goods trade deficit with China was $202.1 billion last year, a 31.6 per cent decrease year on year (YoY), while the deficit with India stood at $58.2 billion in 2025, a 27.1 per cent increase YoY, according to the 2026 National Trade Estimate Report released by the United States Trade Representative (USTR).
US goods exports to China totalled $106.3 billion in 2025, down 25.8 per cent YoY, while imports from China totalled $308.4 billion, down 29.7 per cent. Total US goods trade with China was estimated at $414.7 billion.
US goods exports to India totalled $45.6 billion in 2025, up 9.8 per cent YoY, while imports from India reached $103.8 billion, up 18.9 per cent. Total US goods trade with India was estimated at $149.4 billion in 2025.
China was the third largest US goods export market last year, while India ranked thirteenth.
